Dive Industry Technician Training

Booking Your training course dates/ Payment of course fees

  • Booking directly through the training center SAMUI EASYTEK CO LTD

  1. All technician training courses are pre-booked and confirmed in writing by Samui Easytek. Technicians should receive confirmation of their training course dates prior to booking any air tickets or hotel rooms by contacting the training center HERE.

  2. Once you have been informed of the availability of a course place and date range, Samui Easytek Co Ltd.,  will provisionally confirm ‘hold’ your training course dates for a limited time (typically 10days) to allow the trainee time to investigate travel options and to pay their full course fees directly to Samui Easytek Co Ltd.

  3. Payment of course fees to us is normally made by bank transfer to either our Thailand or United Kingdom Bank Account.

  4. Payment of course fee conversion from USD to either GBP or THB will be fixed and notified to you at the time of course payment. We do entertain re-negotiation of the FOREX exchange rate for course fees once they have been paid.

  5. Conversion of USD priced course fees into either GBP or THB is made at the time of payment/funds transfer to us using the daily mid-band rate on www.xe.com .

  6. We support credit card bookings only for military/government trainees. All civilian technician training courses must be made by bank transfer.

  7. On receipt of your course fees, your DITC training course place is confirmed to you in writing directly from Samui Easytek Co Ltd.

  8. Students are not permitted to commence their training under any circumstances unless in possession of confirmation in writing issued by Samui Easytek that their course place is both confirmed, and that all course fees have been received by Samui Easytek Co Ltd.

  9. All training courses that are provisionally confirmed to a prospective trainee, that have not been confirmed by payment of training fees within the ‘provisionally confirmed’ time limit are automatically considered as cancelled.

  10. Payment of the balance of your course fees at the training center.
    1. In accordance with Thai law, all monies paid to us at the training center in Thailand as cash must be made to us in Thai Baht (THB).
    2. Any remaining course fees owed to us in USD that need to be paid to us in Thailand as Thai Baht, are to be calculated by converting the USD into Thai Baht using www.xe.com at the time of transfer. This gives the current daily mid-band exchange rate used by central banks and allows transparency in any exchange rate dealings with you our client.
    3. Do remember though, that all banks, exchange booths, travel agent services worldwide will charge you a commission for changing one cash currency into another, of typically 3-10% of the amount being converted. This is so they can make a profit from the currency exchange business. Exchange rate fees & commissions are entirely your responsibility in this instance. Your cheapest option is always to pay your full course fees to us by bank transfer – either in USD from outside Thailand or as a Thai Baht from within Thailand.
  • Booking and paying through Agents / Intermediaries

  1. On receipt of your course fees from the agent/intermediary, your DITC training course place is confirmed to you in writing, directly from Samui Easytek Co Ltd

  2. Students are not permitted to commence their training under any circumstances unless in possession of confirmation in writing, issued by Samui Easytek Co Ltd., that their course place is both confirmed, and that all course fees have been received from your booking agent by Samui Easytek Co Ltd

Hotel Room Bookings

  1. Unless informed in writing by Samui Easytek Co Ltd., HOTEL accommodation bookings are entirely the responsibility of the student, you must cancel your own booking if not required, failure to do so will result in you having to pay for it.

  2. We regret that we are unable to assist non confirmed/non prepaid students with hotel room bookings.

Taxi Bookings

  1. Unless informed in writing by Samui Easytek Co Ltd., TAXI bookings are entirely the responsibility of the student, you must cancel your own booking if not required, failure to do so will result in you having to pay for it.

  2. We regret that we are unable to assist non confirmed/non prepaid students with TAXI bookings.

Refund/Cancelation/Lateness Policy

  1. Once you have confirmed your course dates by payment of your course fees, the training course fee is non refundable under circumstances. However, we do permit you join any future scheduled DITC training course, or two allocate your DITC course to another interested party.

  2. Check in times for attending lessons notified for each course must be adhered to, failure to do so may result in the student being unable to complete the course.

  3. Cancellations must be made in writing and confirmed as received by Samui Easytek Co Ltd.,

  4. If weather, industrial action or any other circumstances outside Samui Easytek Co Ltd., control causes the course to be cancelled, delayed, cut short or changed, Samui Easytek Co Ltd.,’ will not be held liable for any consequential loss, damage or expense incurred by the student and any refund will be subject to deduction of reasonable expenses.

  5. In the event of staff sickness, equipment failure, insufficient students or any similar circumstances which make it necessary to cancel a course, the maximum possible notice will be given and all training fees paid to Easytek will be refunded.

  6. Alternatively, the student will be offered the opportunity to re-join any future scheduled course free of charge.

  7. Samui Easytek Co Ltd., will not be held responsible for any consequential expenses incurred by the student due to course cancellation. This includes but is not limited to hotel room costs, Air travel & taxi costs, travel visa costs, etc.
